Request more infoThere's no denying working in the haulage industry can be hard, so we want to make it as enjoyable and rewarding as it can be.
Barry Proctor Services has been a long standing leader in the UK haulage industry for almost 40 years specialising in delivering exceptional service and deliveries to the building and construction sector.
As well as looking after our customers we know how important it is to also look after our people, as they're the ones in front of customer every day. That's why we do everything we can to keep our drivers and operations people happy, supported and fairly rewarded for the valuable job they do.
Some of our drivers have been with us for over 20 years. Despite the draw of other seemingly more highly-paid alternatives the grass isn't always greener, which is why we're supportive of those that do decide to leave us. Many of our drivers and operations employees have left have then returned some time later, so we always leave the door open for people to be welcomed back in.
Our drivers are paid weekly along with their expenses and operations employees are paid monthly. We operate a fair and respectful workplace where everyone is listened to and treated equally.
We want to retain and develop our people, so try and create the right environment to do so. If you want to find out more about working for us we're happy to send over more information, and also set up a call with an existing driver or operations employee.
We prefer you to know everything you need to before making a decision to move and we also like you to come and meet us so you're comfortable in making the right decision for you and your future.
We treat people with a core set of principles always in mind.
